Alice Parlier
My parents and I moved to Cromberg in 1964 and I’ve lived in Cromberg off and on since then.
I worked for over 27 years with the Plumas County Department of Social Services where I was a case manager for the CalWorks and Employment and Training programs. In this capacity I worked with many different agencies including Child Support, Plumas Rural Services, Feather River College and Social Security.
I became familiar with the demographics and economic situation in different areas of Plumas County so I could better advise my clients on education and employment opportunities in the communities where they lived.
I’ve been a lifelong horse woman and I ride and compete on my show jumper, Tony.
My other hobbies include golf, skiing, hiking with my two dogs, and working around my property.
I’m co-director and on the board of PAWs and on the board of Horses Unlimited.
Since I’ve been on the Long Valley CSD board, I’ve learned so much about how the fire department operates.
