Mike brings a wide variety of firefighting and managerial experience to the Long Valley VFD board.  With more than 30 years of experience with the US Forest Service in Fire Management he has a wide breadth of experience.  After retiring from the Forest Service Mike worked for the Plumas Firesafe Council as the program manager for the Senior/Disabled Hazardous Fuels Reduction program. This included budget management, administering grant funding and contract oversite.  After 8 years in this position he retired and is currently a full time retiree.
