Shelley owns and operates Camp Layman Resort with her husband Dan, where they have lived since 2010.  She was a former police officer for Henderson, Nevada, then worked for Clark County, Nevada as a mediator for many years prior to moving to Cromberg.  Shelley and Dan have two grown children, one in Phoenix, Arizona, and one in Houston, Texas.  They have two grandchildren.  When she is not working, you can find Shelley playing pickleball, kayaking one of the local lakes, or hanging out with her dog, Winnie.  She is happy to give back to the community she calls home.
